  1. Cut Bacon into small pieces. Place in large pot to start crisping. Meanwhile, crumble Sausage into small pieces and place into pot. Chop onion. Place onion and garlic into pot. Let meats brown and onions become translucent. Once browned and translucent, pour in broth. Bring to boil. Meanwhile, cut potatos and tear kale into bit size pieces. Place in pot. Let simmer, covered, until potatos are tender (about 20 minutes). Remove from heat and add half & half or milk. Serve, topped with parmesean cheese.
