Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Heat the oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat for a couple of minutes until nice and hot.
  3. Add the chile and cook for about 1 minute, infusing the oil with its flavor.
  4. Add the almonds and coat them completely with the chile oil, about 2 minutes.
  5. Put the pan in the oven and roast for 15 minutes or until the nuts are toasty and fragrant.
  6. Remove the almonds to a plate lined with paper towels and sprinkle with the salt while still hot.
