Three Layer Mint Bars

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 stick margarine
  • 1 box(es) 10x sugar
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 3-4 drop green food color
  • 2 squares bitter chocolate
  • 2 tbsp margarine

Directions:

  1. Layer 1: Beat eggs, sugar, cocoa, flour, and extract. Melt margarine and add. Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 and cool.
  2. Layer 2: Mix sugar and softened margarine. Add extract, milk, and coloring. Spread on cooled cake.
  3. Layer 3: Melt chocolate and margarine. Brush on with pastry brush. Chill and cut into bars.
