Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Using scissors, cut up the bacon in 1/4 in x 1 in slices ( just an estimate), fry up in a medium skillet on low heat until slightly brown.
  2. In a large skillet cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is no longer pink.
  3. In a casserole dish combine the beef, bacon, corn, 2 tablespoons of garlic and 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning until well mixed. Pour the stock over the top. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cut up the potatoes in chunks ( leaving the skins on) and boil until tender, mash up with milk, butter, 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning, celery salt and 1 tablespoon of garlic. When well blended and the 30 minutes is up, spread over the meat (leaving uneven for presentation).
  5. Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes or until the potatoes get golden.
