Mashed Potatoes - Basic Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Put potatoes in large pot.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
  5. Drain well.
  6. Mash with the butter, milk, and salt.
