The Greek Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 6 cups of flour
  • 3 tsp of vanilla
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts chopped fine (or put through the food processer)
  • brown paper bag

Directions:

  1. Cream together the first three ingredients
  2. Add egg
  3. Mix in the remaining ingredients except the powedered sugar
  4. Shape into balls
  5. Bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes
  6. Allow cookies to cool about 5 minutes
  7. Fill brown bag with the powdered suger
  8. Gently shake cookies in bag to coat with suger
  9. EAT!!
