Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream peanut butter and and butter.
  3. Add sugar and blend well.
  4. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
  5. Sift flour, soda and salt, add to creamed mixture.
  6. Add rolled oats, wheat germ and apple, mixing well.
  7. Spoon about 1/4 cup onto cookie sheet and flatten.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from rack.
  9. Yields: 15 (5 inch) cookies.
