  1. In sauce pan,combine cherries,sugar,1/4 c water and syrup.
  2. Blend cornstarch with 2 tbls water.
  3. Add to cherry mixture.
  4. Cook over low heat,stirring constantly,until thickened.
  5. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. I listed cooking time not the time preparing the cherries.
