Sweet And Sour Shrimp Fish Or Pork

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb shrimps , fish or pork
  • 3 tbsp salad oil
  • 2 1/2 cups of pineapple chunks and juice
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 tsp of cornstarch

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in saucepan, toss in shrimp and cook for 5 min. Stir constantly.
  2. Now pour in pineapple juice, add ground ginger, pepper cut in strips, vinegar, sugar, salt and soy sauce. Cook over low fire for 2 min.
  3. Spoon out a little of the liquid and mix with the cornstarch until you have a smooth paste.
  4. Pour back into meta mixture and cook slowly, stirring constantly until the liquid is transparent and slightly tic.
  5. Serve with fluffy, pipping hot rice.
