Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Soak dried beans in cool water overnight.
  2. Add salt pork and bring to a boil the next morning.
  3. Drain the beans and salt pork and add it to the bean pot.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients plus just enough water to cover the beans.
  5. Stir to mix all ingredients.
  6. Cover and bake at 250ºF. for six hours or beans are tender
