Sunflower Seed Bread

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 3/4 oz. fresh yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sunflower seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • prep time longer than stated due to making the starter dough and letting it rest overnight

Directions:

  1. Mix everything together and knead dough until smooth texture and it
  2. Comes away from the mixing bowl clean.
  3. Cover dough with cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Scale dough pieces into desired weight and shape pieces into round dough balls.
  5. . Proof the dough until it is double the size.
  6. Place in hot oven (400°F) for approximately 15-20 minutes.
  7. Let the bread cool before slicing.

  9. 3/8 cup Water
  10. 1 cup Bread Flour
  11. Pinch of Fresh Yeast
  12. Mix together all ingredients and rest over night in refrigerator
