Sue's Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp crisco (i just throw in slightly spoons full. also, butter flavor is great if you've got it.)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter or 4 tbsp margarine

Directions:

  1. Beat together Crisco and sugar.
  2. Mix flour, salt, powder and add to bowl.
  3. Mix all with milk till blended.
  4. Put in square pan (greased) and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Bake at 375 till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. Sue said 30 minute.
  7. Remove from oven and while still hot, spread with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
