Ingredients:

  • 5 oz butter, softened (lowfat will work here)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4-1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat over to 350.
  2. Cream butter and 3/4-1 cups sugar together til light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder.
  5. Add to butter and eggs mixture.
  6. In a grease 9 inch pie or flan pan, press the pastry dough covering bottom and up sides.
  7. Spread strawberries into crust.
  8. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar.
  9. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes til crust is golden.
