Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F
  2. Combine all ingredients except last three in large saucepan & bring to a boil.
  3. Add 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in 1/3 c water.
  4. In separate bowl, sift flour 3 times.
  5. Mix everything and pour into greased bundt cake pan.
  6. Bake 1 hour.
