Directions:

  1. Gather up all ingredients, a large bowl, a small bowl, a large baking dish, a knife, a cheese grater, and a wooden spoon.
  2. Cube butter.
  3. Melt butter.
  4. Shred cheese.
  5. Chop onion.
  6. Crumble crackers.
  7. Mix potatoes, cheese, sour cream, soup, onion, and cubed butter in large bowl.
  8. Blend well and pour into large baking dish.
  9. Mix crackers and melted butter and pour over casserole.
  10. Bake 55 350.
