Simple Raisin Sauce (for ham)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb raisins (3cup)
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar

Directions:

  1. Soak raisins in water for 2 hours.
  2. Boil slowly for 30 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half.
  3. Add sugar and vinegar.
  4. Cook on low for 45 more minutes.
  5. Serve hot on ham.
