Raisin Sauce for Ham

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1 1/4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Directions:

  1. Boil raisins and water 5 minutes.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Add to raisin mixture.
  4. Cook 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in butter and vinegar.
