Ingredients:

  • 24 oz steak
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sweet peppers
  • 2 tbsps parsley
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/2 cup cheese , gorgonzola
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions:

  1. Halve steaks. Place each piece between 2 pcs of plastic wrap. With flat side of a meat mallet, pound to 1/4 thick. Remove plastic wrap. Season with salt and pepper. Coat with flour.
  2. In a large skillet, cook garlic in hot oil over med-high heat for 1 min. Add steaks to skillet. Cook for 3 mins per side. Add chopped peppers and parsley. Add beer, scraping bits from skillet. Add Gorgonzola to skillet. Turn steaks; simmer, uncovered, for 3 mins. Add broth. Bring to boil; simmer 1 min.
  3. Transfer steaks to platter. Add cream to skillet. Simmer for 1-2 mins, until slightly thickened. Season to taste. Serve steaks with sauce and, if desired, hot mased potatoes or pasta.
