Sausage & Tater Tot English Muffin Pizzas

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a small skillet, heat oil over medium.
  2. Add onions, sausage and tater tots.
  3. Cook until onions are transparent and tater tots are soft and brown.
  4. Break up tater tots adding garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Take muffins and split in half using the precut as a guideline.
  6. Place split muffins on a cookie sheet.
  7. Spread each half with 1-2 T of pasta sauce and 2-3 T of sausage mixture.
  8. Top with 2 generous pinches of cheese.
  9. Bake in a 350 oven 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and muffins are firm.
  10. For OAMC-Precook the sausage and potato mix storing in a ziplock bag when cooled. Thaw in the microwave 5-10 minutes or until the bag is manageable. Since everything is cooked you don't want to overcook it, just thaw it out. Then assemble as directed above.
