Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut

Directions:

  1. In a meduim saucepan, mix together butter, sugar, eggs, salt, dates and walnuts. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  2. Cool for about 5 minutes and then fold in 2 cups rice krispies.
  3. Form into balls and roll in coconut.
