Salted Peanut Crisps

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Beat butter, shortening, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. Mix flour, soda and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture.
  4. Mix until well blended.
  5. Stir in peanuts.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
  7. Flatten with bottom of greased glass dipped in sugar.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
