Russian Cough and Sore Throat Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup honey

Directions:

  1. Chop Onions, put in medium size pan.
  2. Add water and salt cook till onions are clear.
  3. Drain onions thru sieve or cheesecloth to catch pieces, Put liquid back in pan add honey, cook 10 minutes to combine.
  4. Store in Jar, refrigerate in summer.
  5. Take 1 TBP for sore throat or cough.
