Perfect Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp honey , or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 3 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Place water in a large bowl.
  2. Add honey or sugar. mix well.
  3. Add sea salt, mix again.
  4. Add yeast, mix well, well, well!
  5. Let set for 5 minutes. It should cover the top with bubbles or foam.
  6. Add flour a cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. After 3 cups just add a little at a time, until it forms a ball of soft dough in the middle of the bowl.
  8. Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
  9. Oil the outside of the ball and place it back into the bowl, let it rise for 30 to 45 minutes.
  10. Punch down and press into one or two pizza pans, depending on the size and how thick you want your crust, and how heavy your topping are going to be.
  11. I double this recipe for the two pans I have.
  12. Put on pizza sauce, topping and cheese.
  13. Bake at 350 f for about 30 minutes, or until done.
