Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. All the ingredients can be used as much as you want
  2. The only ratio that matters is that of rice and water
  3. Let the rice wait in warm water for 20 min
  4. Dice the seafood in small pieces
  5. Cut the lemon in circles and set aside
  6. Pour the olive oil in a wide and low pan
  7. Place the pan over the stove and start at low heat
  8. Rince the and pour it into the pan before the olive oil is too hot
  9. Stir for a few minutes so that the two get to know each other, until there is little sizzling
  10. Add the water, the salt and the ginger powder (2-3 lemon drops if you wish to let them know what's coming)
  11. Adding the seafood at this stage is optional: If you like the raw feel you can add it in the last phase just before the lemon. I add salmon before but if I use shrimps I add them later.
  12. Stir one last time
  13. Cover well and cook at low-medium heat for 10 min
  14. Make sure not to open it during the first 10 minutes
  15. After 10 min, turn the heat to low if the water has evaporated, wait for 5 more min
  16. Turn off the heat and gently stir 2-3 times
  17. It is ok if the bottom is slightly burned
  18. Cover the whole dish with lemon slices (you could also get creative and add fresh smelly greens at this stage - dill or parsley or mint according to your taste)
  19. Have it wait for 15 min
  20. Decorate with lemon and mint while serving
  21. Ready to yummm
