Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds; cook peppers 5 minutes in boiling salted water; drain and set aside.
  2. Combine the rice, tomatoes, butter, and onion soup mix.
  3. Fill peppers with rice mixture; place in a 9-inch square baking dish.
  4. Pour 1/2 inch hot water into dish.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle cheese over the top; bake 5 more minutes.
