Ingredients:

  • cream together
  • 1/2 cup shortening and 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • add
  • 2 cups flour 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp soda
  • 1 cup sour milk (1 cup milk with 1/2 tsp vinegar)
  • 2 cups rhubarb, cut into small pieces
  • top with
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes in a greased 9 x 13 pan
