Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 -1 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Grease bottom only of a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  3. TOPPING-.
  4. In a small bowl, combine oatmeal, brown sugar, and butter mixing till crumbly; set aside.
  5. BATTER-.
  6. In a large bowl mix together flour, oatmeal, bran cereal, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  7. Stir in milk, eggs, and oil; mixing just to moisten.
  8. Fold in raisins.
  9. Spoon into prepared pan.
  10. Sprinkle evenly with topping.
  11. Bake for 1 hour and 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  12. Cool on rack 10 minutes.
  13. Remove from pan.
  14. Cool completely.
