Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup or 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine ingredients and mix well.
  3. Press firmly into well-greased 9 X9 pan (although I had so much trouble extracting the bars from my ancient pan, I bought a silicone pan just for this recipe!).
  4. Bake 22-25 minutes until golden & bubbly.
  5. Cool completely and cut into bars.
