Quick Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (if using salted omit extra salt)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Mix flour,baking soda and salt.
  2. Add starter,butter.milk and the egg.
  3. Mix well - Some lumps are fine.
  4. Let sit for a minute or two while heating your skillet. I use a cast iron skillet lightly oiled.
  5. When pan is hot drop by 1/8 c amounts
  6. Cook until bubbles appear and then flip after about 45 seconds they are done.
  7. Remove from pan and serve as you like with syrup or fruit.
