Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cake -and- pastry flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups milk

Directions:

  1. Stir liquid into dry ingredients, beating until almost smooth (do not over mix).
  2. Pour batter onto preheated griddle, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Turn when bubbles break on sufrace.
  3. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.
