Pumpkin Melt in Your Mouth Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/3 cup butter, cold
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Sift flour into mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in remaining dry ingredients.
  4. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
  5. Stir in pumpkin and milk to form a soft dough.
  6. Roll out on floured surface to1/2-inch thickness.
  7. Cut out biscuits with biscuit cutter.
  8. Place on greased baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
