Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Beat cream cheese, brown sugar and maple flavouring in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine dry ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Separately mix remaining ingredients until well blended.
  5. Add to flour mixture until just blended.
  6. Divide 3/4 of the batter amongst 12 greased muffin cups.
  7. Drop 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling into center of each cup, pressing down slightly into batter.
  8. Top with remaining batter.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
