Ingredients:

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 1 can (16 oz.) del monte pumpkin
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 2/3 cup water

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs and pumpkin; mix well.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients; add dry ingredients alternately with water.
  3. Pout into two well greased and floured 9 X 5 loaf pans. Bake at 350*F., 1 1/3 hours or until test done.
  4. Let stand 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cool.
  5. Makes two loaves.
