Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Toast hazelnuts in oven till you begin to smell them. They will burn easily so don't walk away!
  2. Roll hazelnuts in a towel to remove skins. Chop nuts.
  3. Layer 1/4 cup ready-made pudding in a parfait glass. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Layer 1/4 cup of the contrasting ready-made pudding. Sprinkle again with chopped hazelnuts. Repeat layers till glass is full or you run out of pudding. Garnish top of parfaits with more hazelnuts, banana chips or chocolate curls made from room temperature chocolate.
  4. NOTE: Another way to make these parfaits is to put one container of ready-made pudding into parfait glass, top with the crumbs of a shortbread cookie (homemade or commercial, like Walkers) then top with a container of the contrasting ready-made pudding. Garnish with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
