Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 (12 oz) can poppy seed filling

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla.
  2. Add sifted dry ingredients.
  3. Add the poppyseed filling and milk.
  4. Mix completely.
  5. Stir in nuts.
  6. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour 10 minutes at 350*.
