Ingredients:

  • 5 reg size milky way bars
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 - 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 -1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups semisweet- chocolate chip morsels melted

Directions:

  1. GREASE AND FLOUR AN ANGEL FOOD CAKE PAN
  2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES
  3. IN A SMALL POT OVER LOW HEAT, MELT CANDY BARS WITH 1/2 CUP OF BUTTER. THEN CREAM SUGAR WITH REMAINING 1/2 CUP OF THE BUTTER UNTIL LIGHT. ADD CANDY MIXTURE AND BLEND WELL.
  4. ADD EGG-YOLKS , ONE AT A TIME, MIXING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION, DISSOLVE BAKING SODA IN BUTTERMILK AND ADD ALTERNATELY WITH THE FLOUR TO CANDY MIXTURE, ENDING WITH FLOUR.
  5. BEAT EGGS WHITES TO STIFF PEAKS AND FOLD INTO CANDY MIXTURE THEN ADD CHOPPED PECANS.
  6. BAKE FOR 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES
  7. COOL AND FROST WITH MELTED SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE MORSELS
