Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Beat sugar into eggs.
  2. Add flour through salt and blend thoroughly.
  3. Stir in pineapple.
  4. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch metal baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350° about 30-35 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Meanwhile, combine butter through milk in a small saucepan.
  7. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer about 10 min until sugar is dissolved and sauce is thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  9. Stir in coconut and nuts.
  10. As soon as cake comes out of oven, spread coconut mixture over the top.
  11. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
