Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk (2%)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 450. Grease 6-cup muffin or popover tin.
  2. Mix flour and salt together in a medium mixing bowl. Combine eggs and milk; blend well. Add to flour mixture and whisk until blended.
  3. Divide batter amoung prepared popover cups. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake 20 minutes more. Do not open oven door during daking process. Serve immediately.
  4. Variations: Parmesan - add 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese to batter.
  5. Herb - Add 1 TBS fresh minced basil, chives or parsley to batter.
  6. Green onion - Add 1/2 cup minced green onion to batter.
