Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teasp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 2/3 cups hershey's cocoa
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package ( 10-oz) reese's peanut butter chips
  • 1 can ( 14-oz) sweetened condensed milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350' F
  2. In a large bine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla...beat well
  3. Add flour, cocoa, and milk...beat until blended
  4. Add 1 cup of the pecans....stir
  5. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan
  6. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until the sides begin to pull away from the pan
  7. Cool completely in pan on wire rack

  9. In medium saucepan over low heat...melt 1/2 cup butter and the peanut butter chips stirring constantly
  10. Stir in condensed milk and stir until smooth
  11. Pour over brownies

  13. In glass measuring cup place chocolate chips
  14. Microwave on high for 45 seconds.....stir
  15. If necessary microwave for 15 more seconds at a time ...
  16. Stirring after each heating ...just until chips are melted
  17. Drizzle over fudge layer...zig-zaging back and forth

  19. Chop remaining 1/4 cup pecan medium fine and sprinkle on top
  20. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm...cut into bars
  21. Makes 24 brownies
