Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sifted cake flour
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 eggs , unbeaten
  • 1/3 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Stir dry ingredients together, add peanut butter, shortening and 2/3 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes in mixer on medium speed. Add eggs and 1/3 cup milk and beat 2 minutes longer. Pour into two (8-inch) layer pans and bake at 350*F for 30 to 35 minutes.
