Peanut Butter Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Cream sugar, peanut butter, shortening, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.
  3. Add dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in well greased pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  5. Cut into bars while warm.
