Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 16 oz can pork and beans
  • 5 tbsp maple or pancake syrup
  • 4 tbsp ketchup

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Fry bacon until crisp; crumble.
  3. In bacon drippings, saute onion until brown.
  4. Mix bacon, onion and drippings with remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour into casserole dish and baked covered for 45 to 60 minutes.
  6. Served at The Lady and Sons.
