Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 3/4 cup water

Directions:

  1. Peel potatoes, if desired, and slice 1/2 thick.
  2. Heat butter in a saucepan. Add onion and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add potatoes, tomato sauce and water. Season to taste.
  4. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
