Orange Slice Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over candy in bowl. Let stand for several minutes.
  2. Cream butter with 1/2 cup sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Blend egg and banana into creamed mixture.
  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in orange candy.
  6. Spoon into greased and floured loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until brown.
