Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Combine the oats, flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in nuts and raisins.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees, for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove to wire racks to cool.
