Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped shallot
  • 1 medium head nappa cabbage sliced and chopped
  • 3 package ramen noodles
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. ) PUT CHOPPED CABBAGE IN LARGE BOWL
  2. ) SAUTE ALMONDS, SESAME SEEDS AND SHALLOT IN BUTTER UNTIL TOASTED
  3. ) ADD BROKEN UP RAMEN NOODLES. MIX WELL.
  4. ) COOL, THEN ADD TO CABBAGE. MIX WELL.
  5. ) MIX RICE VINEGAR, OIL, SUGAR AND SOY SAUCE IN BOWL.
  6. ) STIR SAUCE INTO CABBAGE MIX ABOUT A HALF-HOUR BEFORE SERVING.
