My Favorite Dutch Speculaas

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups flour
  • slivered almonds , how ever many you want, i usually put 1/2 cup to 1 cup (optional)

Directions:

  1. Mix All ingrediants together in large mixing bowl.
  2. Shape into 1 balls and press onto cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes.
