Really simple, one bowl recipe. My Mum got this recipe from a friend at work as as soon as she made them I fell in love. I don't make them too often because I'll eat wayyyy too many!
Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon clove
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups flour
slivered almonds, how ever many you want, i usually put 1/2 cup to 1 cup (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix All ingrediants together in large mixing bowl.
2. Shape into 1 balls and press onto cookie sheet.
3. Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes.
