Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Drain herring; place in a medium bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, combine egg yolks, mustard, vinegar, salt, white pepper, and sugar.
  3. Use a whisk to gradually beat in oil until mixture is thick and creamy.
  4. Stir in dill.
  5. Pour over herring.
  6. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours.
  7. Note: Preparation time does not include refrigeration time.
