Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook in slow cooker the hulled hominy over night on low.
  2. Rinse corn.
  3. Brown and chop meat.
  4. Chop cabbage, turnips, rutabagas and carrots to bite size.
  5. In a large soup pot pour all ingredients don’t drain the beans.
  6. Fill with water 1 over all ingredients adding as needed.
  7. Cook until all vegys are tender.
  8. Note: making corn soup the traditional way of lying the corn is the easiest task.
